about

Based loosely on my experiences in the music industry. The title of Jean-Paul Satre's existential novel "Iron in the Soul" (which I haven't read) is shamelessly converted to this song title by the simple addition of the letter "y". Furthermore, I also add the letter "y" to his first name in order to make it rhyme easily with "Franky Sinatra" in the first verse! I was BORN to harvest CORN!

"Hope is definitely not the same thing as optimism. It is not the conviction that something will turn out well, but the certainty that something makes sense, regardless of how it turns out."
