One of my best friends found several pages of a 1935 newspaper underneath the linoleum in a share-house. It featured an advertisement for a special belt to hold a fat man's gut in. The first frame of the cartoon showed an oversized chap being laughed at by children on the beach. It is captioned "On the beach I was immense". This song fleshes out more details of the life of the fellow depicted. Entirely factual.
